The dance drama "Du Fu" is co-directed by famous directors Han Zhen and Zhou Liya, famous playwright Tang Dong, national first-class composer Liu Tong, Stage Director of the National Centre for the Performing Arts Gao Guangjian, Costume Designer Of the China Opera and Dance Theater Yang Donglin, famous stylist Jia Lei, former Chengdu Military Region Battle Flag Cultural and Labor Troupe Choreographer Li Chao as executive choreographers, famous new media artists Feng Jiangzhou and Zhang Lin, and National Centre for the Performing Arts lighting design Zhang Ming.
The main creative team used the spirit of craftsmanship to create a masterpiece that can represent Chongqing to the national and even world standards to pay tribute to Du Fu and his feelings for poetry and the people.

Synopsis of the play
Speaking poetry with dance and conveying affection with dance, "Du Fu" integrates modern and contemporary dance vocabulary into the classicism of traditional dance drama. With a contemporary and international perspective and dance as the medium, it visualizes the essence of China's most traditional culture.
The dance drama "Du Fu" aims to portray the image of Du Fu as a poet who "regards the country as his life and takes the people's livelihood as his own responsibility", shows his national righteousness and the bones of the literati, interprets the social and cultural roots of his outstanding poems, and lets people see Du Fu's lofty spirit of pursuing ideals endlessly, shouting out for the people, and never condescending for personality.
