Mention Man Shaoping, more people will have a familiar name in their minds: Loving Mother. Open the WeChat circle of friends of "Loving Mother", 365 days a year, almost no rest days. In order to rescue seriously ill children in distress, she took volunteers around, taking the children to Nanjing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing and other places at their own expense to find experts and hospitals, and even in Chinese New Year's Eve, they would accompany the children in the ward; when the children's families did not understand and wanted to give up, they came to the children's homes again and again, touching them with heart and affection.
"In the past, when I saw children in poor areas on TV, my mother would ask me to find an address to see if I could help them." Man Shaoping, who was born in 1968, said that her mother was a person with a particularly kind heart, who cared more about others than herself, which had a great impact on herself.
In 1989, a pair of orphans near Man Shaoping's home had no money to buy school and daily necessities, and she did not hesitate to give half of her first month's salary to help the orphans. Later, Man Shaoping was laid off because of the poor efficiency of the factory, but this did not change her original intention of helping others.
In November 2011, she led the creation of the "Sihong Loving Mother Team" with the theme of "Baby, Don't Cry", which was later changed to Sihong County Loving Volunteer Association, 90% of the members are adult women, the association takes the rescue of children with serious diseases in Sihong as the main service content, and at the same time provides emotional comfort, psychological counseling, life support, etc. for the mothers of seriously ill children in difficult families, helping the mothers of children to adjust their mentality, actively face difficulties, and compose countless poems of love.

In June 2019, The father of Sun Xinxiang, a child with severe scoliosis, turned to Man Shaoping for help. Due to the mental disability of his mother and the deafness and muteness of many years, his father was 67 years old and frail and unable to bear weights. His old family house was demolished, and he rented a 10-square-meter cottage near the school, and usually made a living by picking up garbage. After Man Shaoping learned about it, she actively applied for a low-security subsidy for his family, and considering that the child's father was not in good health, she also personally took the child back and forth to Nanjing for examination many times. After the diagnosis in the hospital, the operation fee was as high as more than 200,000 yuan, and Man Shaoping sought resources in many ways, and finally had the opportunity to apply for free surgery by the American expert medical team, but the project was suspended due to the impact of the epidemic.

Watching the child's health deteriorate day by day, Man Shaoping was very anxious, and applied for two foundations and a love organization, together with her own team, a total of four public welfare organizations to help. After hard work, the child finally successfully operated on September 6, 2021, which lasted a total of 89 days, and Man Shaoping has been accompanying the child, affected by the epidemic, she can only take care of the child alone, so she has lost more than a dozen pounds. Usually, Man Shaoping is reluctant to buy anything, and there is no time to go shopping, she spends all her time and energy on seriously ill children, and even the new clothes on her body are bought by her son at the university. At present, the Sihong County Caring Volunteer Association has more than 300 local volunteers in Sihong and more than 5,000 volunteers in the country. Since its establishment, the association has received consultation and help from more than 900 children with serious diseases, raised nearly 9 million yuan through online and offline channels, rescued 120 children with serious diseases from difficult families, and 79 children have been fully recovered. Today, some of these recovered children are in primary and secondary schools, some have gone to college, and some have gone to work and participated in the public welfare group of Man Shaoping.
