The second season of "Demon Hunter" will go live on December 17 this year, but until then, Netflix will launch Demon Hunter: Wolf's Nightmare on August 23. It is an animated film that focuses on the story of Geralt's mentor and righteous father, Vesemil, and will be voiced by Theo James, who has starred in Divergent and Castlevania. Kim Podnia will play the role in the second season of Demon Hunter.
Although in Geralt's timeline, Visermir is a very experienced demon hunter with gray hair, in this animated film, he is still young and dashing, and earns a living by exorcising monsters. Yet he still has to face his past and fight a monster for a kingdom that is already mired in political strife.
With the first trailer for the animated film now released, let's take a closer look at what new adventures will emerge in the latest installment of the Demon Hunter series. While we can still see scenes of Kyle Mohan's past prosperity, the voiceover in the trailer hints at his future.

Tetra asks Wiesemir if the two monsters are his friends, and Withermeer replies easily that "the vampire girl is a friend of a friend", which may imply that the two monsters are pursuing Deglan, Visemir's mentor, or that they are both vampire banshee retinues that Wesermier is hunting down.
In either case, when they met Visemir, the two monsters would most likely not have a good ending.
