The Celtics have officially announced that they will retire Garnett's No. 5 jersey in a home game against the Lone Rangers on March 14, 2022.
After six seasons with the Celtics, Garnett helped the team win the 17th NBA championship in team history in the 2007-08 season, and it is also the Celtics' most recent championship winning experience so far, until 2020, the Lakers won the 17th championship to equal the Celtics.
