The NBA announced clippers guard Patrick Beverley's unpaid ban for one game, which will be executed from the first game Beverley can play in the 2021-22 season.
Beverly will lose $98,765, which will be deducted from his 2021-22 season salary (1/145 of his annual salary per game of suspension).
Beverly pushed down Chris Paul from behind when the G6 situation in the Western Conference Finals was decided, and was expelled on the spot. The Clippers eventually lost 103-130 to the Suns to end the 2020-21 season.
Beverly later apologized to Paul on Twitter.
