Q represents the strength of the steel, 460 represents 460 megapascals, megabytes is 10 to the 6th power, and Pa is the pressure unit Pascal. Q460 is that the plastic deformation will occur when the force strength of the steel reaches 460 MPa, that is, when the external force is discharged, the steel can only adhere to the shape of the force and cannot return to the original shape, which is greater than that of general steel.
Q460 on the basis of ensuring low carbon equivalent, the content of micro-alloy elements is added appropriately. Outstanding welding capabilities require low carbon equivalent of steel, and the addition of microalloy elements adds the carbon equivalent of steel while adding steel strength. But fortunately, the added carbon equivalent is very small, so it will not affect the weldability of the steel.
