Singer and actress Sally Kellerman recently passed away. Kellerman reportedly died Thursday at a nursing facility in Woodland Hills at the age of 84. Her son, Jack Krane, told The Hollywood Reporter that Kellerman had been battling dementia before his death.

Kellerman's most famous role was probably that of U.S. Army Major Margaret Hollihan in the 1970 Robert Altman-directed black comedy war film Army Field Hospital, which earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress and a Golden Globe nomination. Later, in the TV series Army Field Hospital, the role was played by Loretta Swit, for which she won two Emmy Awards.

According to Kellerman, Ultraman had accurately predicted that she would be nominated for an Oscar. Over the next few years, Ultraman collaborated with her on several other films, including Freak in the Air, Behind the Scenes, and Storm of Clouds. She also starred in one of the episodes of the 1997 Ultraman-supervised TV series Guns.
