As of 14:05, H-share ETFs (159954.SZ) were down 0.53% and had a turnover rate of 9.54%. As of February 24, the fund received 10 consecutive days of net inflows of funds, with the latest share of 438 million shares, a record high.
CICC said that since the second half of 2021, the repurchase behavior of Hong Kong listed companies has begun to increase significantly, and even hit the highest value in many years. Not only that, but some state-owned enterprises that have rarely bought back in the past have also begun to buy back shares.
CICC sees this as a noteworthy change that shows that share prices are also attractive from the perspective of the company's management. Historically, an increase in buybacks may mean that market value is gradually revealed, often a medium-term bottom signal.
