In recent years, the art of street dance has gradually entered the public's field of vision. Variety show "This! The broadcast of "Street Dance" has set off a hip-hop boom. Members from the Fuqing Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe not only participated in the competition, but also took the stage as a guest of honor. It is worth mentioning that the leader of the group, Lin Qingjing, served as the representative of the professional jury of the finals (season four) and took the oath to speak.
Originating in the late 1960s, hip-hop has taken the world by storm with the fusion of dance and sports, as well as street performances. When street dance was introduced to China in the mid-1980s, it was loved by young people, and Lin Qingjing, the head of the Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe, was one of them.

"I started with hip-hop in 1998, when I was still in junior high school. By chance, I saw Mike Jackson's performance, and I thought his dance was particularly good, watching the film and learning to choreograph a few moves. ”

In 2010, fuqing qiaoxiang street dance troupe was officially established. Under the leadership of Lin Qingjing, the scale of the street dance troupe is getting bigger and bigger, and there are more and more students.
Lin Qingjing told reporters,
When he first started the Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe, he was alone, and at the same time he had to train students. Later, some students grew up and gradually became the main force of the hip-hop troupe. From one classroom to several campuses, the Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe took only two or three years. At present, the Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe has 10 schools in Fuqing, 4 in the urban area, and 6 in Longtian, Gangtou, Jiangjing and other townships.
Since its inception, Qiao Xiang Street Dance Troupe has participated in large-scale events such as the G20 Hangzhou Summit and the premiere of the National Centre for the Performing Arts.
In 2019, Lin Qingjing took the stage of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and he was also the first Chinese street dancer to appear as the lead dancer on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala.
In 2021, the large-scale sitcom "Great Journey" celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held at the "Bird's Nest" at the National Stadium. Lin Qingjing was one of the main creators of this evening, choreographing and participating in the song and dance program "Special Zone Imagination Song", which also impressed him.
Lin Qingjing said:
"I encountered a lot of bottlenecks in the process of artistic creation, and we can think of other choreographers and directors, who were very stressful at that time, and slept two or three hours a day for three months, but when the show was presented on the stage, all the choreographers and actors were moved to cry." Because being able to show street dance at large-scale events in some countries is a very big recognition of street dance. ”
At the same time, some of the small players cultivated by Lin Qingjing began to emerge. His beloved apprentices, Zheng Haodong and Tong Jierong, although they are not very old, have won many professional championships.
Regarding the promotion of street dance culture, Lin Qingjing continues to do a series of online and offline interactive promotion. During the epidemic prevention and control period in 2020, Lin Qingjing shared the teaching methods of youth street dance in the form of live broadcast on Weibo for the first time, and more than one million people watched the live broadcast or recorded broadcast in two hours.
