At the event site, the technical personnel conducted training on the key points of tobacco leaf floating seedling technology for party members and local tobacco farmers, and explained in detail the technical essentials of system disinfection, film filling, plate sowing and daily management of seedling sheds. He also said that compared with traditional soil seedlings, this technology can achieve faster growth rate in the early stage, more developed root system of tobacco seedlings, higher survival rate after transplanting, and better growth and appearance. At the same time, because the whole process is separated from the land, the damage of diseases, insects and weeds transmitted by the soil is effectively avoided, and the unfavorable factors of external natural conditions are eliminated, and finally the robust tobacco seedlings that are neat and consistent and meet the transplanting standards are cultivated. Everyone listened carefully and interjected from time to time to interact and deeply understand the technical difficulties. After the training, all the party members and cadres of the organs also formally threw themselves into the tense atmosphere of busy spring ploughing and farming, and everyone was grouped according to the pre-arrangement, some shouldered the seedling substrate, some debugged the automatic seeder, some prepared the seedling tray, and some prepared the seeds. At the end of the day, everyone divided their work and cooperated, and methodically completed the seedling work that can be used for 1,000 acres of tobacco fields. "Although I am engaged in tobacco work, I am still involved in this front-line production and seedling breeding work for the first time, and I have learned some of the essentials of seedling breeding on the spot, which I think is very necessary to understand as a tobacco cadre," said Li Lei, a tobacco inspector.
In order to let more tobacco farmers benefit from the industry, the person in charge of the bureau introduced that in 2022, the overall situation will focus on thousands of acres of villages and concentrated contiguous areas, and do a good job in the work of "command fields, demonstration fields, and responsibility fields". Around the thousand mu demonstration village and industrial park, 11 "three fields" demonstration sites are planned, covering an area of 1300 mu, accounting for 55% of the planned area.
