In order to effectively promote the rapid and high-quality development of the aquaculture industry in Jishishan County, improve the breeding level of the majority of farmers, and better promote the linkage development of the grass and livestock industry. From February 22 to 23, the Agricultural and Rural Bureau of Jishishan County held a training course on the technology of beef cattle production and efficiency increase in 2022. A total of 200 trainees, including all the staff of the county animal husbandry development center, the station chiefs of some township stations, the technical backbone of 17 township farmers in the county, and the leaders of cooperatives, participated in the training.
In this training, Li Yongzhi, a senior expert of state animal husbandry and veterinary medicine and a researcher of the state animal husbandry technology extension station, and An Dehai, a senior pastor, were invited to conduct special training. Starting from the current situation of the development of animal husbandry in the mainland, the two experts focused on several aspects such as cattle and sheep breeding management, feed allocation, disease prevention, and feed silage. At the same time, the trainees were also introduced to the impact of breed, gender, age, feeding method, and time of emergence on beef quality and cattle raising efficiency, and instructed the trainees on how to grasp and control these factors in the breeding process. The lectures of the two experts are practical, in-depth and simple, the language is vivid, the courseware is full of pictures and texts, and the teaching process can produce good interaction with the students, which is widely praised by the students. At the end of the training, the trainees are awarded a graduation certificate.
The meeting also conveyed and studied the "Gansu Provincial Animal Epidemic Prevention Regulations" and interpreted the county's effective industrial policy of consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
