In order to effectively answer this "eternal topic" and "lifelong topic", it is necessary to draw valuable experience from the party's century-old glorious course of practicing the mission of the original heart.

First, grasp it from the perspective of theoretical intention. The party's original intention and mission are based on Marxist scientific theory and are the concentrated embodiment of the party's nature, purpose, ideals and beliefs, and goals of struggle. The purpose of nature reflects the essential attributes of this political party that distinguishes it from other political parties. Ideals and convictions embody the political soul of this political party. The goal of struggle embodies the fundamental purpose and intention of the existence of this political party. The "original intention" epitomizes the essential attributes and value pursuit, and the "mission" embodies the historical responsibility and the goal of struggle. In a nutshell, the mission of the original heart is to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, realize the people's yearning for a better life, and realize communism with a heart of firm faith in ideals and beliefs, absolute loyalty to the cause of the party and the state, and sincere and pure heart to the masses of the people. The nature and purpose of the party determine that our party has always taken the fulfillment, protection, and development of the fundamental interests of the broadest masses of the people as the starting point; its ideals and convictions have determined that our party has always adhered to historical materialism and relied on the people to create the great cause of history; and the goal of struggle has determined that our party has always made continuous progress toward realizing the common prosperity of all the people. This is a re-emphasis and new development of the central values that run through the party's nature and purpose, concepts and beliefs, and goals of struggle, which clarifies the origin of the party's return to its original mission and realizes a high degree of unity between party spirit and people's nature.

Second, grasp from the value orientation. On the one hand, adhere to the value pursuit of revolutionary ideals. Since its founding, our Party has written Marxism and communism on its banner. In the final analysis, our party has been able to rise up unceasingly through setbacks and harden into steel through hardships, and in the final analysis lies in the fact that the lofty ideals and revolutionary convictions in the hearts of millions of communists have always been sincere, persistent, faithful and profound. In the course of the century-old journey, our party has led the people to forge and forge many great spirits that shock the world and weep ghosts and gods, forming a "spiritual genealogy" that can be long-term for future generations, and is a powerful spiritual force and ideological weapon for our party to overcome various difficulties and risks on the road of the Long March in the new era and to constantly win new and greater victories. Only by not forgetting the original intention, inheriting and carrying forward the red gene, can we comfort history, comfort the ancestors, and win the hearts of the people and win the times. On the other hand, we should adhere to the value pursuit of the people's position. Our party comes from the people, takes root in the people, and benefits the people, regards the people's stand as the fundamental stand, regards the people as the fundamental force, respects the people's dominant position, gives play to the people's pioneering spirit, and unites and leads the people to jointly create the great cause of history. Over the past one hundred years, our party has unswervingly believed in and relied on the people, not been intimidated by all difficulties and conquered by all risks, and has finally continuously created one victorious situation after another and continuously promoted the development of the cause.

Third, grasp it from the perspective of historical verticality. On the one hand, a history of the party is a history of practicing the original mission for the Chinese and the people, that is, the history of exploration, struggle, entrepreneurship and development of our party leading the people to realize the Chinese dream, and the theme and main line it contains is that the party unites and leads the people of all nationalities throughout the country to make unremitting efforts to realize the two major historical tasks of national independence, people's liberation, and realizing the prosperity and strength of the country and the common prosperity of the people. The original intention and mission run through every link and every process of China's revolution, construction and reform. It is precisely by adhering to the original mission that China has achieved a great leap from standing up and getting rich to becoming strong. On the other hand, a history of the Party is also a history of striving for the cause of human progress. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "Everything we do is for the happiness of the people, rejuvenation for the nation, and unity for the world. "Our party has always held high the banner of peace, development, cooperation and win-win results, unswervingly followed the path of peaceful development, and contributed to world peace and tranquility; through the development and expansion of itself, it has created opportunities for the development of all countries in the world and contributed to the common development of the world; and treated the civilization creation of the people of all countries in the world with an open vision and an open mind, and contributed to the exchange and mutual learning of world civilization." The key to solving all kinds of problems within the party that run counter to the original intention and mission lies in having the consciousness to face the problems squarely and the courage to turn the blade inward; that is, to remind the comrades of the whole party that the longer they are in power, the more they must not lose the spirit of self-revolution and push the party's self-revolution in depth in the new era. Self-revolution is the distinctive character of our Party and the greatest advantage of our Party. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our party, with the courage of self-revolution, has resolutely struggled against all kinds of problems that affect the party's advanced nature and weaken the party's purity, dare to turn the blade inward, dare to break the wrists of brave men, dare to scrape bones and heal poison, and build the party into a strong Marxist political party. Taking history as a mirror, we can know the rise and fall. In order for our party to always become the vanguard of the times and the backbone of the nation, it must always be strong in itself.
