In 1977, she won the fourth place in the second World Cup Women's Volleyball Tournament, then won the sixth place in the World Women's Volleyball Championship, and the Asian Games women's volleyball team won the runner-up.
In 1978, the 24-year-old Chen Zhaodi participated in the National League as a player of the Bayi team, and it was this time that an accident occurred! In this competition, Chen Zhaodi suffered a serious radial injury to his left arm, so he had to withdraw from the competition. But she only recuperated for two months, and before the hidden dangers of injury and illness were completely eliminated, Chen Zhaodi returned to the training ground, and what she did not expect was that Chen Zhaodi's left arm had since fallen ill.

Lang Ping finally decided to return to China to become the head coach of the women's volleyball team.
