That's right, 18 years have passed in a flash, from the first All-Star tour in 2005 to the 2022 All-Star completed, James has become the player with the most All-Stars. Amazingly, James was able to continue that record, making himself an All-Star unparalleled number.
Despite being 37 years old this year, James still maintains his competitive form at the MVP level, so he has once again been elected as the 2022 All-Star Ticket King. With his ability to maintain his form, the next two years alone will not be a problem in being selected as an All-Star, which has created a long record of being selected as an All-Star for 20 consecutive years.
Even if James's status declines in the next two years, or the data does not meet the criteria for being selected as an All-Star, he can still appear in the All-Star game with the popularity accumulated in 20 years. So, unless James "announces his retirement in place," there's nothing that can stop him from setting the extremely hard-to-break record of being an All-Star for 20 consecutive years!
