The Londoner is located in the heart of London's West End, on the world-famous Leicester Square, which has been a famous public centre for nearly 400 years, surrounded by luxury hotels, casinos, grand theatres and other landmarks.
The hotel developer, Edwardian Group, has invited renowned interior firm Yabu Pushelberg and architecture firm Woods Bagot to create this luxurious city hotel.
The project is located in a 50m x 50m site with a total area of 32,000㎡. And due to urban planning factors, the height of the building was also limited, and the designers of Woods Bagot came up with a way to expand the space underground, thus subtly integrating the 15-storey building into the historic neighborhood.
The layout of the hotel over the street and eight floors underground makes it a challenge to attract people to 100 meters underground, for which the indoor public spaces are infused with their own personalities and in dialogue with the history of the surrounding West End. Visitors are invited to constantly explore new things in every corner and create the world's deepest habitable commercial building experience.

Marble and velvet finishes and furniture create a luxurious experience. With a private club on the ground floor, restaurant, bar and VIP lounge area, guests will be invited to immerse themselves in a theatrical setting with interiors designed to blend into London culture and highlight the character of London's West End. △ VIP lounge area △The Whisky Room

"The attention to every touchable detail is behind Yabu Pushelberg's exquisite design ideas, which we believe will make the project more vigorous and let the emotional resonance stay in every timeless design for a long time." Yabu said.
The Londoner's rooms and suites are mostly open-plan designed with uniform colour tones and natural wood panelling to create a soothing atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.
Capital Suite
Capital Suite
Measuring 86 m2, it is a two-storey sky apartment with a living room, marble bar and bathroom with Apaiser bathtub. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows conform to the building façade into a narrow strip, and the suspended ceiling supported by columns creates a sense of openness.
Specialty suites
Corner Suite
With an area of 52 square meters, it is a luxurious suite decorated with timeless materials and artworks. The wood-panelled finishes divide the spaces, with a private dining area and kitchenette and beautifully appointed living room.
From the custom designs and contemporary artworks on the walls, each room offers a super five-star experience. In addition to the deluxe suite, there are 6 types of room types, ranging from 19㎡to 29㎡.
The relaxing wood tones in the suite are not lost in the surprise embellishment of niche works of art, continuing the quirky and fresh look.
The bathroom of the guest room is also made of tile materials that are consistent with the skin of the building, and the deep blue and wood materials are unified in tone, and the delicate texture lays out the texture space.
The hotel also includes five concept restaurants and lounges, a rooftop bar, a ballroom for up to 1,000 guests, two new Odeon Luxe cinemas and an underground thermal bath.
The pool and gym are equally designed and functional.
