After the 2022 Chinese New Year Festival, shenzhen jewelry museum ushered in the long-awaited "Galaxy Can Zhen Yiheng" IGI JEWEL designer selection exhibition. This exhibition is one of the "IGI JEWEL" series of activities, which aims to discover and incubate international high-quality and cutting-edge jewelry designers and help elite talents to "pursue their dreams".
The event continued the popularity of the previous IGI JEWEL Designer Competition, attracting and linking more than 50+ high-quality jewelry designers, launched in August 2021, and invited "International Top Artist Jury" - Wang Jinyuan, Chairman of Fosun Foundation and Fosun Art Center, Chen Shiying, International Jewelry Master, Sculptor and Innovator, Jing Jing, Executive Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Bazaar Jewelry, Alexandre, Founder & Design Director of French Independent Designer Brand DJULA Corrot selected 20 shortlisted jewelry pieces from a unique professional perspective, including 4 "IGI JEWEL STAR" excellent jewelry works. From the recruitment of works to the presentation of museums, it brings a diverse and vivid jewelry design journey to the public. Oriental Crane Sky
Designer: Zheng Sha
Design concept: The crane has never been a creative inspiration for a simple taste, and everything in nature is an iconic theme.
Batlló's mask Mask Batlló
Designer: He Jing
Design Concept: This is another work that pays homage to the great Spanish architect Gaudí, inspired by the façade of his masterpiece Casa Batlló. The designers have combined the important elements of the façade of Casa Batlló into a separate jewelry accessory for a mask brooch/pendant.
Monet's Garden
Designer: Chu Jiyuan
Design concept: The fragrant water lilies in the paintings, the warm sunshine and the gentle wind of Normandy give people the feeling of coming from Giverny.
The "Galaxy Can Zhen Yiheng - IGI JEWEL Designer Selection Exhibition" integrates jewelry design and artistic aesthetics to create an art space of light and shadow, aiming to bring an immersive viewing experience. The exhibition area is located in the "Light of Design" exhibition hall on the third floor of the Shenzhen Jewelry Museum, and 20 "IGI JEWEL JEWELS Into the Museum" shortlisted jewelry works are spread out in front of the three distinctive design backgrounds of "IGI", exuding their own unique "jewelry light".
China's jewelry design power is rising, they extract meaning from China's profound civilization, they explore forms in contemporary diversified art, designers' understanding and tolerance of culture and solid mastery of jewelry knowledge and craftsmanship, making this exhibition a vibrant art feast. With this "Galaxy Can Zhen Yiheng" Exhibition, Baobo and IGI hope to continue to open the "door of dreams" for outstanding jewelry design talents in the future.
