After the launching ceremony, the new rural film screening demonstration site ushered in the first film exhibition "1921", bringing an audiovisual feast to the villagers. In September last year, the Municipal Film Bureau issued the Implementation Opinions on Promoting the Construction of Cinemas in Five New Cities, Townships and Towns and the Screening of Rural Films, vigorously promoting the integration of urban and rural development of the Shanghai film market. Jiading District clearly proposed that by the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, all 132 rural film screening points in the district will have completed equipment renewal, and 10 new rural film screening demonstration points will be created.
According to reports, Beiguan Village built the city's first new rural film screening demonstration site on the basis of the original 300 square meters comprehensive cultural activity center, and equipped with Epson (Japan) HIGH-definition 7000 lumen laser projector, Glenston (UK) 7.1 channel professional film decoding system, high-definition picture frame screen to achieve 4K effect, and movable viewing seats.
In order to make this place truly a gathering place for villagers' cultural activities, the demonstration point will give the initiative and choice of "film selection" and "screening time" to the people in the form of "menu-style" film selection and "on-demand" screening. The frequency of screenings has also been increased from the original 2 times a month to 1 time per week, providing villagers and migrant workers with a rich feast of film culture.
During the activity, the Publicity Department of the Jiading District CPC Committee, the District Civilization Office, the District Education Bureau and other member units of the "Three Visits to the Countryside" sent villagers free medical examinations, popular science publicity, folklore experience, legal consultation, agricultural technology consultation and other zero-distance agricultural service projects with rich forms and close content to the masses, which were welcomed by the villagers.
