How to buy gas appliances and accessories
1. Household and commercial gas cookers
From October 1, 2019, household gas cookers and other products are included in the scope of CCC certification management; from October 1, 2020, household gas cookers that have not obtained CCC certification certificates and are not marked with CCC certification marks shall not be produced and sold.
GB 16410-2007 "Household Gas Cooker" lists flameout protection devices as mandatory standards. Enterprises shall not produce and sell household gas cookers without flameout protection devices.
Consumers or operators should check whether there is a flameout protection device when purchasing, and do not purchase or use household gas cookers without flameout protection devices.
When the gas pipe of the household gas cooker adopts a hose joint, it should conform to the two structures (Φ9.5mm and Φ13mm) shown in GB 16410-2007 "Household Gas Cooker", commonly known as the "pagoda head" structure. The structure of the gas pipeline is unqualified, and if it is installed or used improperly, it is easy to lead to the risk of gas pipe falling off and leaking.
2. Rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies for household gas
Depending on the material, hoses for connecting gas burners can be divided into: non-metallic (rubber, plastic, rubber-plastic composite, metal-coated) hose and metal (stainless steel corrugated) hose.
Consumers should purchase and use gas appliances and accessories that meet quality standards, install and use them correctly in strict accordance with the product instructions, and regularly check whether there is leakage in gas appliances and accessories by applying soapy water, and replace the products with service life requirements regularly.
How to use gas safely?
1. Correct use of gas
(1) Keep air circulating
When the pipeline gas is completely burned, the amount of air to be consumed is more than four times that of the gas, and a good ventilation state should be maintained around the kitchen and the burner.
(2) Pay attention to people who go out of the fire
When the gas is finished, close the valve. Before going to bed, before going out, you should check to confirm that the gas pipeline, liquefied gas tank and cooktop valves have been closed.
(3) The use of gas should be taken care of
Never use a gas appliance unattended. Soup, porridge, milk, etc. are easy to overflow when cooked, so take more care of it to avoid the soup water from being poured out of the furnace and causing gas leakage. Also avoid children approaching the gas appliance.
(4) If the fire cannot be hit, it should be stopped
If you can't fire three times in a row. Pause for a moment to make sure the gas has dissipated before restarting the fire. The gas is released many times, and it is extremely flammable and explosive when encountering an open flame.
2. Gas use specifications
(1) There are generally three kinds of household gas pipes:
The first is the hose, which is easy to age and has risk factors such as fracture and air leakage, and should be replaced after more than 18 months of use;
The second is a metal bellows, which can be used for 6 to 8 years.
The third is aluminum-plastic pipe, which has a service life of 50 years, but the interface should be checked regularly.
(2) The use of gas pipes should pay attention to:
• The length of the gas gel hose cannot exceed two meters.
• The gas pipe should not be near the stove surface to avoid being grilled by flames.
• Do not cross walls, doors and windows.
• Do not press or fold the hose to avoid blockage and affect the continuous air supply.
• At the interface between the gas pipe and the burner and the pipeline, please tie the pipe tightly to prevent the air leakage.
3. Gas leak detection method
(1) When you smell a rotten egg smell, gasoline smell, paint smell, you should be aware that it may be a gas leak.
(2) Find the gas leak point. When inspecting, soapy water, dish soap, etc. can be applied to places that may produce air leakage, such as the joints of pipes, the switches of tables, stoves, etc. If there is air leakage, the place will continue to bubble.
(3) It is strictly forbidden to use an open flame to check for leakage.
4. Emergency measures for gas leakage in the home
(1) The odor is obvious, and the ventilation is cut off
When it is found that there is a smell such as gas in the room, a sudden interruption of gas and no gas, the cooktop valve (or gas tank valve) should be closed immediately, and the doors and windows should be opened for ventilation. The movement should be gentle so that the metal does not rub violently to generate sparks and trigger an explosion.
(2) Electrical equipment, no opening and prohibition
When the gas leaks, do not turn on or off any electrical equipment, so as not to generate sparks and cause explosions.
(3) Leave quickly to prevent poisoning
If the indoor gas and other odors are more obvious, they should be evacuated quickly to prevent suffocation and poisoning.
(4) Close the valve and transfer in time
Pipeline gas users can use tape, etc. to wrap the leaky part tightly, and then try to find the gas pipeline main valve that enters the unit and close it.
When the valve fails, the gas cylinder user should first block the air leakage with wet towels, soap, yellow mud, etc., and then transfer the gas cylinder to the outdoors to vent the residual gas, remember, and eliminate all fire sources.
(5) Timely alarm, emergency repair
In the event of a dangerous situation, the gas supply unit should immediately call the emergency repair telephone and the 119 fire alarm telephone to facilitate timely rescue and repair.
But do not call for help in a room full of gas, and do not turn on the hood or exhaust fan, so as not to spark and cause a fire.
5. Emergency measures when the gas catches fire in the home
(1) Extinguish the fire without air
Quickly close the main valve of the household, cut off the air source, cut off the gas and extinguish the fire.
(2) Dry powder to extinguish the fire
When the fire is too large to close the valve, spray the root of the fire with a dry powder fire extinguisher, quickly close the main valve after the fire is extinguished, and immediately notify the gas company.
(3) Alarm
When the fire is too large to control, quickly call the fire alarm.
(4) Wet is pressed
When the liquefied gas tank is on fire, it is quickly pressed with soaked bedding, clothes, fire blankets, etc., and the valve is closed immediately.
6, household gas seven is not allowed
One is not allowed:
It is not allowed to dismantle or change gas equipment and appliances without authorization. If it is necessary to dismantle or change (such as decoration), the gas installation and maintenance enterprise with corresponding qualifications shall be responsible for the construction. If it is really necessary to move the gas metering device and the facility in front of the metering device, it must be agreed by the gas supply unit.
Two are not allowed:
Gas facilities such as gas pipelines, valves, flow meters, gas appliances and other gas facilities are not allowed to be sealed or installed in dark rooms. Such as installed in the wall, ceiling, cabinet. Inside the stove, etc.
Three prohibitions:
It is forbidden to pile up debris and live in rooms equipped with gas meters, valves and other facilities. Four prohibitions:

Seven prohibitions:
It is not allowed to build houses and temporary construction on natural gas pipelines. Because the construction of houses on the pipeline or the random erection of sheds to pile up debris, garbage, etc. will crush the pipeline, it is not easy to check, carry out pipeline maintenance, emergency repair work, easy to cause gas leakage, natural gas will flow from the underground waterway, and then sneak indoors, causing accidents.
