Thailand network reported that on February 17, according to the air pollution control department in Bangkok, Thailand, the 24-hour PM2.5 concentration in Bangkok was between 39-72 micrograms per cubic meter, of which 45 areas exceeded the standard (more than 50 micrograms per cubic meter), resulting in a decline in air quality levels and affecting health in local areas.

The areas with the highest PM2.5 concentrations are Xikang Square in Pratie District, Lat Phrao95 Lane in Wang Thonglang District, Saint Louis Road in Sathon District, and Zhenghuangqiao in Khlong San District. According to air quality real-time monitoring website AirVisual, Thailand was listed as the world's worst air quality at around 08:30 a.m., ranking 6th.
