In folklore, some people think that Meng Po is the Meng Jiang girl who cried down the Great Wall, because the gods saw her pitiful, so they taught her a soup that can lose her memory, and Meng Jiang, who did not have the pain of widowhood, stayed in Yinsi and became Meng Po.

02 The Classic of Mountains and Seas records the identity of Meng Po
The Classic of Mountains and Seas is the oldest ancient book in China and records many myths and legends, and it is written: "The emperor had two daughters, swam into the river, and when he came out, it was bound to be windy and rainy, because he was the daughter of the emperor, so he was called Meng Po." ”
In the legend, Meng Po is not an old grandmother, but a beautiful woman. Meng Po's father was Emperor Yao, and her name was Nuying. My sister's name was Emperor E.

In the Buddhist Scriptures, it is said: "The flowers on the other shore bloom for a thousand years, fall for a thousand years, and the flowers and leaves never see each other." Love is not cause and effect, and fate is doomed to life and death," so the other side of the flower is called "the flower of forgetting love." ”
