The inspection team randomly inspected the canteens of Hexi Campus, Anhui West Middle School, Lu'an First Middle School, Lu'an Middle School and Lu'an Middle School of Lu'an No. 2 Middle School. Learn more about the deployment and implementation of various work on food safety in schools and canteens after the start of the spring semester, and adopt the form of "turning over boxes and cabinets" inspections, focusing on checking whether the management system related to food safety in school canteens, the health management of employees, the inspection of food purchases and the system of claiming evidence and tickets, washing and disinfecting tableware, and food samples are in line with the requirements. Through inspection, most schools can conscientiously implement the main responsibility for food safety, organize food safety self-inspection before the start of school, and eliminate food safety hazards in a timely manner. However, there are also some school canteens that do not clean the cutting board of cutting vegetables in place, the use of food additives is not standardized, the freezing temperature of the refrigerator does not meet the requirements, and there is no physical partition between food sales and on-site production. The inspection team listed the relevant problems and gave feedback on the spot, and asked the school to immediately rectify the situation.

Hongchun stressed that campus food safety is the top priority and must be highly valued. Schools should fully implement the main responsibility of food safety, conscientiously carry out food safety self-inspection, and carry out comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of environmental sanitation and processing utensils, tableware, etc.; at the same time, they should strengthen publicity and training, and strengthen the publicity and popularization of food safety laws and regulations and related knowledge. The market supervision departments of all counties and districts should strengthen their awareness of supervision, fulfill their regulatory responsibilities, and jointly carry out drag-net inspections with education departments to ensure that the inspection coverage rate of schools (kindergartens) and school perimeters reaches 100% during the opening of the school year.
