Otaku Origins is a compelling and innovative NFT series focused on bringing anime to the blockchain. The team behind the project aims to build a complete universe – OtakuVerse.
This project was inspired by the most famous characters in anime, which can be used on the Solana blockchain. Otaku Origins launched on February 16. Whitelist users can cast their NFT at 11 a.m. EST. The public sale begins at 3 p.m. ET.

Origins of Otaku: Building an anime metaverse
The artwork for this project is stunning and the project plan is inspiring. Anime is one of the fastest growing content genres in the world. In fact, it's a global movement, with more than 1 billion people consuming anime in some way. Now, two friends who love this genre aim to use their passion constructively. Essentially, they intend to harness the power of this genre to build an anime NFT ecosystem.
Their goal is to be the first independent comic/animation publishing DAO, focused on the community. What's more, Otaku Origins NFTs can serve as a ticket into the world they are creating. In addition, it will give you an impact on the future direction of the project.
What is Otaku Origins?
Otaku Origins tells the story of the adventures of 5,000 characters who are mysteriously teleported into the Otaku universe. On the way, they gained special powers and weapons. Now, they must learn to live in this new world, using their newly discovered skills to survive. Special abilities, weapons, and costumes draw inspiration from some of the most memorable characters in the anime universe. There is no doubt that anime fans will love the details in this project.
These digital artworks span eight different genres, influencing their scarcity, power, and identity. Each algorithmically generated character is a random combination of more than 200 beautifully hand-drawn features. In addition, each person has a unique posture and posture.
This NFT drop is just the beginning. More NFT series will follow, including The Shoujas. They are a limited collection of 300 female Otakus. These will be very unique. Therefore, only the OG members of Discord have the opportunity to cast one of them.
Although Otaku Origins NFTs are 1/1 of artistic masterpieces, they also have other uses. They allow the holders to enter the beautiful anime world they are building. However, these characters are also the starting point of the entire Mansion Gate universe.
OtakuVerse Cosmic Roadmap
Our ultimate goal is to build a complete world (OtakuVerse). This universe is in the hands of the community and is supported by the DAO. Importantly, the DAO allows members to vote on several key issues, including legends, finding authors and the future direction of the project. With this in mind, the DAO will rely on mint funds and 25% of all secondary funds.
At the same time, Otaku doesn't want to get involved in a simple NFT culture. They will reportedly reimagine the concept of the entire NFT community.
Comic publishing is an exciting aspect of the origins of Otaku and one that we particularly want to see. The creation of comics/cartoons will draw heavily on the history of these two types to create a compelling story arc. At the same time, most of the comic's content, including plot, arcs, and characters, will be decided by dao members.
In addition to the main DAO storyline, there will be multiple accompanying major stories. These multiple storylines will expand OtakuVerse. However, another exciting aspect that is being prepared is the development of a gaming platform around OtakuVerse.
