Director Jiang said that with the care and strong support of the hospital leaders, after nearly 20 years, the pediatric ward has been restarted, and a perfect integrated system of pregnancy and childbirth has been built, and in the future, all medical staff of the pediatric department will inherit the fine traditions of their predecessors, give full play to their professional advantages, and comprehensively carry out health services such as diagnosis and treatment, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and health education for common and frequent diseases of children, so as to escort children's health.

The pediatric ward is located on the 9th floor of the inpatient department of the Bo'ai Building of the hospital, with 40 open beds, and there are double rooms, general wards, single rooms and VIP wards. The ward environment is elegant, the corridor is painted with colorful fairy tale series paintings, the facilities in the ward are warm and childlike, and the ward layout is reasonable, equipped with modern specialized medical facilities and equipment.
At present, there are 35 professional and technical personnel at all levels in the ward, including 4 chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, 10 master's students, and 5 nurses in charge. The department comprehensively carries out health services such as diagnosis and treatment of common and multi-morbid diseases in children, prevention, health care, rehabilitation and health education.
