Netherlands-based Vanquish yachts has released renderings of the 35-meter VQ115 Veloce currently under construction.
Translated as "fast," Veloce is the fastest aluminium superyacht on the water, with a top speed of over 50 knots per hour, commissioned by an old customer in October 2020, with three MTU-Rolls-Royce 2650 engines with surface paddles. This is an extraordinary feat for a 115-foot (35-meter) yacht. It is equipped with a "normal" diesel engine instead of a turbo drive.
When using two of these engines for recreational cruising, it is capable of providing a range of 500 nautical miles (926 km) at a speed of 15 knots. Thanks to the ship engineering design of the Dutch Delta Studio, the superyacht should be 15% more efficient at top speed than projects of the same power and size.
Founded ten years ago, Vanquish Yachts specializes in the manufacture of all-aluminum high-performance motor yachts. Since its opening, several self-operated yachts up to 49 feet (14.95 meters) have been delivered. Despite having a superyacht in the design phase, the VQ115 Veloce is currently the largest contract. The VQ115 Veloce has a sporty look, slender hull with the familiar Vanquish's elegant shape and clean lines, designed to optimize performance and improve efficiency at high speeds, as well as an integrated flybridge, which was entrusted to Guido de Groot, who managed to make the Veloce look like a combination of luxury yachts and racing boats.

The interior layout features a flexible main salon with free-standing furniture that can be moved as needed and can accommodate up to 8 guests in a master suite, VIP cabin and cabin. There is a dedicated media room for guests to spend quieter nights on board, which doubles as a fourth cabin thanks to the two Pullman bunks on board. Initial discussions with the shipowner began with the VQ90 concept and later evolved into the VQ115, which included an additional cabin, a dedicated dining area on the lower deck and two langars.
The shipyard described the interior design as a "futuristic" style with an "informal dance floor". Aquamarine and teak floors extend from the stern deck to the yacht's interior.

The client wanted a yacht that could entertain multiple people on board, so its outer deck was open to social spaces. The large foredeck features a lounge and outdoor dining area, a thalasso Jacuzzi under the sunbeds, and a second helm station and sunbathing area under the flybridge.
Although the VQ115 was equipped with heavy engines, the first VQ115 left plenty of room for a stern garage that housed a Vanquish VQ16 with a built-in hydraulic platform to facilitate the launch and launch of the attached boat. A second bay on the starboard side accommodates the Vanquish VQ11 jet ski and doubles as a recreational area with bait tanks, paddle boards, SeaBobs and other toys.

Other features include a draft of 1.35 meters, which means the model is suitable for cruising in shallow waters, while two gyroscope stabilizers are available for added comfort during cruising.
The VQ115 will join the VQ80 sport fishing boats that began construction earlier this year. According to the shipyard, the record-breaking yacht is expected to be delivered by the end of 2022, and construction of two new models will begin soon.
