Today, Wenchang Middle School in Hainan Province held a spring opening work meeting for the 2021-2022 school year in the auditorium of the comprehensive building. President Pan Zhenghuai, Vice Presidents Hu Jing, Huang Liangde, Zhu Xiaofeng and other members of the school leadership team and all the teaching staff attended the meeting, and Vice President Zhu Xiaofeng presided over the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice President Zhu Xiaofeng introduced the four retired faculty members of the last semester and thanked them for their positive contributions to the development of our school over the years. Then, Director Yu Mingchuan of the teaching room made the teaching work arrangements for this semester and put forward requirements: to become a better teacher with team spirit and "empty cup" mentality.
Wu Zhijun, director of the teaching and research department, made arrangements for teaching and research work: actively carry out "heterogeneous classes" activities and research on various topics at all levels; do a good job in "teacher-apprentice pairing", high school examination preparation and "provincial first-class school" re-evaluation work; continue to do a good job in teachers' continuing education post training and organize teachers and students to participate in scientific and technological competitions, and promote the "Pilot School of Intellectual Property Education in Primary and Secondary Schools in Hainan Province" to be carried out steadily.
Finally, President Pan Zhenghuai spoke. President Pan first expressed his New Year's wishes and sincere thanks to all the teachers and staff, and put forward five hopes: sincere unity, casting the teaching team of our school into the most effective team; loyal to the cause, diligent efforts, and being a teacher with educational feelings; bearing hardships and standing hard work, working hard and complaining, regardless of gains and losses, being a teacher with a spirit of dedication; loving the country and loving the post, setting an example of virtue, and being a person with family and country feelings; having a broad mind, treating each other with sincerity, communicating with the heart, and being a happy person.

In 2021, Wenchang Middle School students won 2 national awards, 101 provincial awards and 59 municipal awards. Two teams participated in the sixth "Mystery" Hainan Youth Science Popularization Knowledge Contest and won the second and third places; Liu Yingchen participated in the finals of the first Hainan Provincial Youth Poetry Conference and won the third place; the volleyball team participated in the Men's and Women's Volleyball Chinese Middle School Students Beach Volleyball Championship and won the first place; Li Yilong and Zhan Dali won the first place in the "Beidou Cup" National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition; Song Naikang won the first prize of the 38th National Physics Competition for Middle School Students, Lin Liyun, Lu Shenghua won the first prize in the Hainan Division of the National High School Mathematics League. The college entrance examination was released, and the good news was frequently spread, and Zeng Xianwei was admitted to Tsinghua University with excellent results.
