On February 15th, the 8th Shaanxi Ski Conference and the 2021-2022 Shaanxi Cross-Country Skiing Open Competition opened in Ningshan County, Ankang City, and more than 100 young skiers from Xi'an, Yan'an, Ankang and other cities gathered at the National Snow Sports Training Base in Ningshan County to celebrate the traditional festival in a sports way.
On the same day, the 8th Ski Conference of Shaanxi Province and the 2021-2022 Shaanxi Cross-Country Skiing Open First conducted the men's and women's groups under the age of 18, the men's and women's groups under the age of 16, the men's and women's groups under the age of 14, and the men's and women's groups under the age of 14. After the 800-meter short-distance cross-country skiing competition, Hanzhong City representative team Lan Junhui won the championship of the men's group under 18 years old, and Li Xiaoqing of the Weinan city team won the championship of the women's group; in the men's and women's groups under the age of 16, the Hanzhong city team had strong strength, Wang Tianyou and Guang Minxin won the championships of the men's group and the women's group respectively; the laurels of the men's group and the women's group under the age of 14 were won by Jia Hao, a member of the Xianyang City representative team, and Wang Mengyuan of the Yulin City representative team, respectively.
From February 17th to 19th, the cross-country skiing competition of the 17th Shaanxi Provincial Games (Youth Group) will also be held at the National Snow Sports Training Base. Cross-country skiing was included in the provincial games for the first time, resulting in a total of 16 gold medals.
It is understood that the Shaanxi Provincial Ski Competition has been held since 2015 and has been successfully held for seven sessions, which has played a leading role in "5 million people participating in ice and snow sports" in Shaanxi Province; the Shaanxi Cross-country Skiing Open Has been successfully held for four sessions and is one of the most influential mass ice and snow events in Shaanxi Province.
In recent years, Ningshan County has adhered to the development strategy of "ecological county, cultural tourism xing county, and industrial enrichment", vigorously implemented the "sports + tourism" integration development model, firmly seized the opportunity of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and built the largest indoor ski hall in the northwest region - Qinling Four Seasons Ski Resort, which is the first national snow project training base in Shaanxi Province, and has 13 training teams such as the national cross-country ski team, the national training team for sleds, the national training team for steel frame snowmobiles, and the Chinese figure skating training team to carry out training in Ningbo for many times. It has received 150,000 domestic and foreign ski enthusiasts and more than 20,000 research students. In 2019, Ningshan County took the opportunity of the national snow project training base to settle in the county and took the lead in launching the "Ice and Snow Sports into The Campus" activity in Ankang City.
