American actress Lindsay Rohan was recently exposed to be close to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, not only flying around in his private jet, but also casually swiping the credit card he gave. The crown prince had previously been charged with ordering the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
According to the British "Daily Mail" reported on August 5, people familiar with the matter said that Lindsay Rohan and Salman met at the F1 Grand Prix a year ago and have maintained friendship and established close ties since then. Recently, the prince has frequently used private jets to take American actresses to many countries, and even provided a credit card for her to swipe.
A representative for Rohan denied the claims, acknowledging only that the two had met last year. But another insider said they witnessed text messages between the two.
Rohan, who is currently based in Australia, made her debut on the Australian version of "The Masked Singer" last month. In the past few weeks, Rohan has made headlines for a verbal altercation on set with two other mentors, Danny Miró and Dave Hughes.
Although Rohan has denied a close relationship with the Saudi crown prince, in fact, the American actress has been sought after by Middle Eastern politicians in the past. One source said, "During her time in Dubai, they went crazy for her". Last year, Rohan also unveiled posters of all her women's movies that focused on Saudi culture.
Before the death of saudi journalist Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, Salman was widely praised for lifting the ban on female driving. But a United Nations report released in June said there was credible evidence that Salman was responsible for Khashoggi's murder. In the 99-page report, experts noted that it would have been "inconceivable" that a complex 15-man killer group would have dismembered Mr. Khashoggi without the crown prince's behest.
