12 points, 9 points, 6 points, 3 points, 1 point
Some traffic violations, no more points deducted!
And added some deduction clauses
The private car section focuses on the following:
The following traffic violations deduct points are reduced
Escape after a traffic accident causing minor injuries or property damage, which does not constitute a crime (6 points);
Driving a motor vehicle on the road without hanging a motor vehicle number plate or deliberately obscuring or defacing the number plate of the motor vehicle (9 points);
Driving a motor vehicle on the road that does not have a motor vehicle number plate installed in accordance with the regulations (3 points);
Driving a highway passenger car, tourist passenger vehicle, or dangerous goods transport vehicle that has not carried out regular safety technical inspections in accordance with the regulations on the road (3 points);
Driving a motor vehicle other than a highway passenger car, a tourist passenger car, or a dangerous goods transport vehicle that has not carried out regular safety technical inspections in accordance with the regulations (1 point).
Points will not be deducted for the following traffic offences
1. Driving a motor vehicle on the highway without following the regulations under low visibility meteorological conditions;
2. Obtaining a motor vehicle driver's license by concealment or deception;
3. Driving a motor vehicle that is prohibited from entering the highway into the highway;
4. Driving a motor vehicle through an intersection without driving or stopping in accordance with regulations;
5. The motor vehicle driving on the road has not placed the inspection pass mark or insurance mark, and has not carried the driving license or the driver's license of the motor vehicle with the vehicle.
6. Passenger cars are within 20% of the speed of highways, urban expressways and ordinary roads.
In addition, if the circumstances of the traffic violation are minor and a warning punishment is given, points are exempted.
The following traffic violations deduct points increased
1. Driving a motor vehicle in front of the motor vehicle when the motor vehicle stops in line or drives slowly, overtaking through the lane or occupying the opposite lane, interspersed with waiting vehicles (2 points to 3 points).
2. Driving a motor vehicle and obstructing safe driving, such as making or receiving a handheld telephone (2 points is upgraded to 3 points).
The latest deduction rules for the new terms section
New: In lieu of the actual driver of a motor vehicle, he or she accepts penalties and demerit points for obtaining financial benefits for traffic violations (12 points);
New: Driving a motor vehicle to illegally stop on a highway or urban expressway (9 points);
New: Driving a motor vehicle on highways, urban expressways to reverse, retrograde, and make u-turns across the central divider (12 points);
New: Driving a motor vehicle that does not overtake or give way according to regulations, or retrograde on a road other than a highway or urban expressway (3 points);
New: Driving a motorcycle without wearing a safety helmet (1 point);
New: When driving a motor vehicle on the road, the driver of the motor vehicle does not wear a seat belt according to the regulations (1 point);
New: Driving a motor vehicle that does not meet the regulations, or does not reverse or turn around on roads other than highways and urban expressways (1 point)
