Green leather sofas, dark green walls, orange warm lights dotted with sewing machines, dressers, vertical microphones and other old Shanghai objects placed in the tea house... The interior decoration and decoration of the tea house exude the retro Shanghai style of the old Shanghai beach. In the view of Zhang Jianming, general manager of Shanghai Old Shanghai Tea House Co., Ltd., the old Shanghai Tea House itself is an installation that records the culture of old Shanghai, and the overall style, exhibits and music in the museum reflect the unique Shanghai culture.

While retaining the original decoration style of old Shanghai, the old Shanghai tea house also integrates modern popular elements, and Ni Weijuan, director of operation of the old Shanghai tea house, said in an interview with reporters that there is no shortage of uniquely designed installation art such as the use of popular colors and water buckets in the museum.

The collections displayed at the Old Shanghai Food Culture Exhibition are from Zhang Jianming's collection, "I like Shanghai culture very much, and I am also a person who loves to collect, this 'old meal is still remembered', is to let every friend who comes to you can feel the food culture of old Shanghai blending Chinese and Western." Since its opening on June 18, 1999, the old Shanghai Tea House has been more than 20 years old, Zhang Jianming told reporters, during which the guestbook in the store was full of one book after another. Guests come to the restaurant because of the tea and use words as a medium to intersect.
