Hengyang, 24 Oct (Xinhua) -- On the morning of 24 October, the first session of the 18th People's Congress of Hengyang County held its second plenary session to elect the chairmen, vice chairmen, and members of the Standing Committee of the Eighteenth People's Congress of Hengyang County, the county magistrate and deputy county chief of the county people's government, the director of the county supervision commission, the president of the county people's court, and the chief procurator of the county people's procuratorate, and voted to approve the members of the special committees of the county people's congress. Ye Qiang was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of the 18th People's Congress of Hengyang County, and Sun Hao was elected as the county magistrate of the Hengyang County People's Government. Liu Yang, deputy secretary of the county party committee and director of the United Front Work Department, presided over the meeting.
