My name is Ami and I was born in Shenzhen in 1972.

This photo is when I was at Choi Woo Wai Choi Elementary School, it was 84 years old, when I was eleven or twelve years old, (the whole class) came to Xiangmi Lake for a spring excursion. The one on the far right in the first row is me. Many of our classmates came here together and took this group photo. At that time, Xiangmi Lake was relatively empty, the mountains behind were unchanged, and the hills in front of them were gone. I'm excited to share this group photo with you today.
36 years later, I still live on the side of Xiangmi Lake. My husband and I have been married for more than twenty years, and I have always been very happy. My little one is twenty-four years old.

Take a look at the changes in Shenzhen now. I am very happy that this side of Xiangmi Lake is going to be demolished and will then become a financial center. As a native of Shenzhen, I hope that Shenzhen's tomorrow will be better.
【Shooting Notes】
Ami's story is simple: born and raised on the shore of Xiangmi Lake, going to school, working, getting married, having children, husband and wife are harmonious, and children are born. Ami's ordinary happiness is as full as the water of Xiangmi Lake, but it is not alarming.
However, it is precisely because of her birth and growth in Slovak that Ami's perspective is special. First of all, her innate identity makes her a witness to the changes in her hometown, and the so-called grass and trees are always concerned. Unlike those of us who are foreigners, who have lived here for decades and are still struggling with where our homes are, where we are. Secondly, she is full of gratitude for this change in her hometown, but it is not like we were surprised at first. How did the wilderness of her childhood become what it is now, and only when she returned to Xiangmi Lake to compare old photos, she would make an "Oh" exclamation.
