In 1999, Xiao Huangqi won the Taiwan Top Ten Outstanding Youth Award. In December 2002, he released his first creative album "You Are My Eyes". In December 2007, he released his solo album "True Love Song", the entire album of 12 songs are all his personal creations, and composed for Taiwanese singer Huang Xiaohu's "Not So Simple". On June 26, 2010, Xiao Huangqi won the Best Taiwanese Male Singer Award at the 21st Golden Melody Awards.

Early experience

Xiao Huangqi is a visually impaired singer who was born blind due to congenital cataracts, became amblyopia after eye surgery at the age of 4, and became blind again due to excessive use of the eyes at the age of 15.

When he was in the fourth grade of the blind school, Xiao Huangqi began to learn judo. He has represented Chinese Taipei in international judo competitions many times, and won the bronze medal in the 1990 Beijing Asian Paralympic Games and the seventh place in the 1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games.

Since 1995, Xiao Huangqi and his friends have formed an orchestra called "All-Round", which is composed of two fully blind, two amblyopic and a clear-eyed person. Xiao Huangqi served as the leader of the all-round orchestra, the lead singer, and the saxophone. He took the orchestra throughout Taiwan's schools and prisons for the blind, using his songs to send warmth and bright hope to these sunniest corners.

In 1999, Xiao Huangqi won the Taiwan Top Ten Outstanding Youth Award.

Acting experience
