The Australian Open title set 12 records, and Barty was only one step away from the Grand Slam in the US Open

Over the past few months, the women's singles world number one Barty's career has changed dramatically, with the number of Grand Slam titles reaching 3, just a shortfall from becoming a Full Slam player in the U.S. Open.

In particular, she won the Australian Open earlier this year, setting 12 remarkable records.

She is the first Australian to win the Australian Open since 1978, both men and women. Chris O'Neal was the last player to win the title in home football, winning the Australian Open women's singles title in 1978.

2. In the process of winning the championship, she successfully defended 55 of her 58 serves, and only Anisimova and Collins broke her serve.

3. She is one of only five active players to win Grand Slam titles on hard courts, clay and grass. The other four players are Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Serena Williams.

4) She is one of only seven active players to win at least three of the four Grand Slam tournaments. The remaining six players are the men's Big Three, Serena Williams, Wawrinka and Kerber.

5) She has now won 11 straight, tied with the second-longest winning streak of her career. Previously, she also won 11 consecutive races between Miami and Madrid in 2019. Her longest winning streak is a 15-game winning streak between the French Open and Wimbledon in 2019.

6. She also has a record of 22 consecutive sets. She lost the first set 4-5 in Adelaide, the first leg of the year, and has not lost a set since.

Barty has won not only 22 of the last 23 games against the top 30 players, but also 17 of the last 18 games against the top 20 players and 12 of the last 13 games against the top 10 players.

8. She ended the longest championship drought for a home player in four Grand Slams, and after 44 years of waiting, the Australian player finally won the Australian Open. The longest interval between French players winning the French Open is 22 years (Mary Pierce, who won the French Open in 2000); the other two Grand Slams are much shorter, with Englishman Murray winning Wimbledon six years ago and American Stephens winning the U.S. Open five years ago.

She has won 28 of her last 31 matches in Australia. She has lost just three games on home soil since Adelaide, the week before the 2020 Australian Open, against Kenning (2020 Australian Open semi-finals), Mukhova (2021 Australian Open quarter-finals) and Collins (second round of the 2021 Adelaide Tournament).

10 She is the first Australian to win a three-time Grand Slam title since Evan Gulagun. The other five Australians — Rod Laver, John Newcomb, Ken Rosewall, Margaret Court and Gulagun — won three or more Grand Slams during the Open era, but they all won between the first 12 years of the Open era, between 1968 and 1980.

11 In the past 20 years, she is one of only three women to win the Australian Open without losing a single set. Maria Sharapova did it in 2008, and Serena Serena did it in 2017.

12) She currently has 8,330 points, nearly 3,000 points ahead of second-place Sabalenka by 5,509 points. As a result, Barty's number of weeks in the world will last for a long time. (Source: Tennis House Author: Wu Li Fun)
