According to a surveillance video obtained by foreign media, the killer has been trailing Ms. Li since she got out of the taxi, and when Ms. Li entered the building where the apartment was located, she grabbed the door opened by Ms. Li and entered the building.
Local police said the killer had been following Ms. Li into her apartment and killing her. It is reported that Ms. Li's neighbor heard her cries for help and screams at about 4:30 a.m. and called the police. When the police arrived at the scene, they found that Ms. Li's apartment door was locked, and the murderer locked himself in the apartment after the killing.
