Estonian Kelly Sildaru played solidly, scoring more than 80 points in both rounds, and in the second round, with a 1080 flip, she scored the highest score of 86.15 points in the whole game, and advanced to the final with the first result of the qualification round.
After the race, Sildarru affirmed the conditions of the venue, "The field is really great, and yesterday's snowfall made the landing slope soft and comfortable.". Sildarru said he didn't think too much about winning the gold and liked to enjoy the game.
Norway's Johanne Keely also played well in both rounds, finishing second in qualifying. China's Yang Shuorui ranked 23rd and missed the final.
