At that time, the two ropeways of Zhongtianmen and Taohuayuan had entered the aging period, equipment failures were becoming more and more frequent, and experienced old employees were leaving one after another, and new young employees lacked practical experience, so it was urgent to improve their vocational skills. After repeated brainstorming, the idea of "making a teaching ropeway" was formed in Song Jianjun's mind. "If there is a ropeway that can be used for teaching, the fault that cannot be simulated in the real ropeway can be simulated on the teaching ropeway, and by making the various execution elements of the teaching ropeway by yourself, everyone will have an in-depth re-learning and re-study process of the principle, operation mode and design idea of the unhook-up ropeway, which will be a great impetus to our mechanical and electrical professional ability." But because of the material, after many times of opening and closing, cracks and fractures will appear in the stressed part, although the thickness is increased to improve the structure but still can not avoid cracking, all the teams consider the use of sand turning process to make copper parts, but in the details is always difficult to meet the requirements, and then explore the use of lost wax method, because the device is too small, the temperature loss is too fast, in the key jaw position of the rope gripper is still unable to meet the needs, can only give up another way to carry out. In the end, stainless steel machining was chosen to make it. In order to reduce the processing cost, the team used CAD to draw the parts well, and the other party directly processed them according to the drawings. Through continuous testing and improvement, the rope holder was finally successfully made.

At this point, the two biggest difficulties in research and development have been overcome by the team's unremitting and repeated exploration experiments.

The production of carriages is also a difficult point. The carriage is a very conspicuous and brilliant place in the whole system, and it is also easy to cause problems. The carriage began to be made of direct splicing with aluminum plates, and then gradually installed angle guards, edge guards, glass, sealing strips, carriage doors, compartment door switch mechanisms, suspensions, shock springs and other components in the later stage, and each increase greatly improved the practicality and aesthetics.

Although the unhooking simulation teaching ropeway is small, but it is a complete disconnection ropeway, the normality of the ropeway not only depends on the quality of each component, but also depends on the installation and debugging of the entire ropeway system, especially as the first ropeway, there is no experience to learn from, no data can be referred to, everything is constantly groping and exploring, and as a whole system, the problem often appears or is found after the combination, and it is necessary to repeatedly improve the debugging to ensure the normal operation of the ropeway.
