Many artists and creators are beginning to discover their mission in the NFT space, and Jeremy Fisher is one of those creators who discovered and realized the sheer number of opportunities.
Who is Jeremy Fisher?
Jeremy Fisher is an artist, director, animator and producer with over 8 years of experience in the entertainment industry and numerous creative projects. His skills include stop motion animation and creative design in many forms.
Since childhood, Jeremy has loved animation and stop motion animation. He admired the special effects he watched in Star Wars and other Hollywood movies. Growing up, Jeremy would use her toys to make stop-motion animations.
As he explored his curiosity, Jeremy began learning a variety of techniques and tools that would help him develop further in his career.
After entering college, Jeremy discovered that one way to participate in film special effects was to learn computer animation. However, he wasn't very good at learning the software, so he eventually needed to re-evaluate his path and rediscover his passion for animation.
After the reset, Jeremy rediscovered his passion for stop-motion animation. He created his own curriculum around the content of his work and eventually moved to Los Angeles after completing his studies, creating his own studio, where he began to further explore his love of stop-motion animation.
Using his skills, Jeremy has worked with brands such as Robot Chicken, Hallmark, Food Network and several other well-known companies. Jeremy's hands-on experience gave him the opportunity to create sculptures for famous IP such as Tim Burton.
Jeremy's journey into the NFT space
Before learning about NFT, Jeremy had been working with Hallmark on animated greeting cards. However, Hallmark eventually fired all staff before the fire broke and stopped going out to send physical cards.
As Jeremy puts it, the experience was "almost like the precursor to NFTs." Ultimately, this series of events actually allowed Jeremy to build her own production team.
Around this time, Jeremy has been exploring the NFT space, and he launched his first NFT, Cool Cats, and he really enjoyed the thoughtful art style and enticing community that this project offers.
His love of the Cool Cats NFT project led him to create clay sculptures that Jeremy called Clay Cats' Cool Cats animated clay. Members of the Cool Cats community eventually noticed and began requesting their own Cool Cat NFT derivatives.
After creating a few Clay Cats, Jeremy began experimenting with her own NFT project, the Lucky Ducky NFT series.
What is the Luck Ducky NFT project?
The Lucky Ducky NFT project is a collection of 7,777 unique and programmatically generated naughty ducklings. Duckies are stored on the Ethereum blockchain in the form of ERC-721 NFTs, and artwork is hosted on the Interstellar File System (IFPS). Features include funny costumes, headgear, emoticons, and more.
The Lucky Ducky NFT will launch early in the first quarter of 2022, when all clay ducklings are ready for release (late February). The Lucky Ducky team plans to expand their team to add writers, animators, editors, musicians, and vocal talent to the first Lucky Ducky stop-motion animation series.
Lucky Duck and others
In the future, Ducky's owners will be able to "nest" their Ducky and compete for opportunities to appear in future episodes. Artists 0fish0 and Gooblin will pitch Lucky Ducky to animation studios and networks so that they become the first NFT clay kids show to air on TV and streaming.
