Although he has the nickname of "professor", the version of Ryuichi when he was a child has never obediently attended school, and since elementary school, he has often sneaked out with his classmates to watch movies, and is also regarded by teachers as a negative example of "bad boys".

When Ryuichi Sakamoto was in high school, it was the 1970s when left-wing ideas were popular, and among the artists and intellectuals who were keen to intervene in reality, there were many left-wing young people who longed for revolution, and Ryuichi Sakamoto was one of them.
He participated in the parade and read Mao Zedong's works, and the song "Thousand Knives" was a sample of Mao Zedong's "Water Tune Song Head: Heavy on Jinggangshan".

Ryuichi Sakamoto's radicalism and casualness made the teachers love and hate him, lamenting his clever mind and musical talent on the one hand, and fearing him poking out the basket and taking bad classmates.
But it was also during the high school period when "life goes on and on", he was exposed to jazz, rock, alcohol, modern art, Paik Nam Joon and other elements, which were either avant-garde or classic, which together built his rich and diverse, inexhaustible and fascinating brain.
However, at this time, he still did not think that he wanted to take the road of music, he never thought of becoming a musician, and later when he filled in the volunteer, he directly wrote down the four words "no volunteer".

In 1978, Hosono haruto invited Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi to form a band that would become famous as YMO.

When YMO was first established, everyone still wore colored glasses for forming a band, thinking that people with low education and not doing serious things would do it.
But these three young people have changed the public perception.
Their songs not only have the wildness of rock and roll, but also have some jazz, classical and popular elements, and slowly become popular in the still open European and American circles.
Later, the Japanese also accepted their style and setting, and in the streets of Japan in the 80s, you can hear the new and avant-garde music of the YMO band everywhere.
Sakamoto, who came from classical music, became one of the innovators in the Japanese music industry.

The unexpected popularity of YMO made Sakamoto famous in the world for the first time, and he originally participated in the game with the mentality of playing tickets, and suddenly could not accept the life after becoming popular - becoming a cultural hero shouldering the image of Japan, walking on the road could not escape the siege of fans, and completely lost his freedom of action.
So after releasing his second album, he flew solo for the simple reason that he didn't like the feeling of being too famous.

This year, Ryuichi Sakamoto was 54 years old.

But the years are not spared, after the divorce he is more than half a hundred years old, life is no longer willing to toss.
Most of the time, Ryuichi Sakamoto stayed at his home in Manhattan, New York, reading, composing, playing the piano, and eating seriously.

Pushing open the entrance door, there is a long aisle that connects the basement and the upper public and private areas.
