Xingjia, a developer who has launched social games such as FarmVille and Words with Friends, plans to recruit a studio or so by the end of the year to focus on the development of blockchain and NFT games. That means about 70 to 100 people will be involved in developing these games, and Matt Wolf, head of the StarGape Blockchain Game Project, revealed in an interview with Axios that there is an NFT game that will be launched this year. Existing game teams can choose not to participate in the development of NFT games, and existing StarGame game series will not add blockchain or NFT elements. Last month, Take-Two announced that it would acquire Xingjia for $12.7 billion.
