Barca are willing to cut prices, selling Coutinho, Villa or buying Gerrard's former teammate for 25 million

Barca midfielder Coutinho is enjoying football with Villa after returning to the Premier League.

He made three appearances for Aston Villa under Gerrard, contributing two goals and two assists.

In the 22nd round of the Premier League, Coutinho scored a goal against Manchester United. In the 24th round of the Premier League, against Leeds United, the Barca midfielder scored another goal and contributed two assists.

Coutinho appears to have found the best form he once was in the world at Aston Villa.

In barca's loan contract with Villa versus Coutinho, it was stipulated that Aston Villa could choose to buy the player for £33 million after the loan period expired. That's about a third of the price Barca bought for the former Liverpool midfielder.

In 2017, Barcelona spent £105 million to take Coutinho away from Anfield.

Coutinho fell short of expectations at Camp Nou, and Barcelona are now bent on getting rid of the hundreds of millions of pounds player to ease the team's salary.

In this case, foreign media reported that Barcelona believe that Premier League Aston Villa will find it difficult to pay a transfer fee of 33 million pounds for Coutinho, and the La Liga giants are willing to consider price cuts.

Villa in the Premier League may buy Coutinho for £25m, and whether Barca will accept it will need to be negotiated by the two clubs.
