Fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Fantastic Four and Mutants, but the fate of Deadpool 3 is marked with a question mark.
Although Marvel has long announced that it will not interfere in the development of Deadpool 3, and the protagonist of this movie is still Ryan Reynolds, will Disney really let this movie continue the R-rated route of the previous game?
Deadpool creator Rob Lefeld responded when he appeared on the The Big Thing podcast.
He began by admitting that he was nervous about Disney acquiring the character and what Marvel-directed Deadpool 3 would look like.
"Am I nervous? yes! Of course! ”
As for whether he believes Disney will make R-rated films, Rob did not answer positively.
"Do I believe Disney will make an R-rated film? Well...... Can you wake me up again in two years and show me if this happened? ”
However, he suggested that if Disney did not interfere with Reynolds, it would be the best option.
"My point about Disney and Deadpool is, don't get in the way of Ryan Reynolds. His recognition of these two films is so deep, it's like living in these films..."
"I'd be happy to see [Disney and Marvel Studios] say, 'Look, we're busy getting people to follow Eternals.' Just do Deadpool. Go for it, go for it! Give you a blank check, Deadpool! ’”
Disney should make a decision soon, but since they have said that they will not interfere with the Deadpool series, "Deadpool 3" should still be an R-rated film... Right?
