Editor's note: In the Zhangjiakou Area of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, two NGOs from our city (the general term for event technical representatives, competition officials, referees, and metrology officials) serve the Winter Olympics. When the reporter interviewed in the Zhangjiakou division, he contacted them and interviewed them. In the interview, they invariably said, "As Zibo people, I am really proud to participate in the Winter Olympics and serve the Winter Olympics." ”
Tian Weipeng: I am very excited, and I feel a heavy responsibility
"This is my first time in Zhangjiakou and my first interview on snow projects. The temperature is also too low, it is minus 17 degrees Celsius, and the toes and fingers are frozen numb..." At the first meeting, the reporter told the interview experience to Tian Weipeng, a Winter Olympics worker from Zibo.
"This day is a good day. This temperature is considered to be a 'warm' day. Tian Weipeng told reporters. He had just finished his lunch, and it was already 2 p.m.
"Come and use this warm sticker, especially on the phone, or the phone will freeze and run out of battery." Teacher Tang, who was with Tian Weipeng, took out a warm sticker for the reporter and carefully helped me put it on. Then, I took out a sticker and asked me to stick it to the inside of my pocket. "This one works in there." Put on a hot sticker, nothing to feel. Later, I found that it really worked - the mobile phone that just now prompted "charging" now shows 85% of the power.
With the help of the attentive teacher Tang, the reporter took a group photo with Tian Weipeng.
Tian Weipeng is from Linzi District, Zibo City, and at this Winter Olympics, he is the general term for the NTO - the technical representative of the event, the competition official, the referee, and the measurement official.
Talking about being selected for the Winter Olympics event service team, he repeatedly used several "very excited" to express it.
On January 10, the long-awaited official notice confirming that I could referee the Winter Olympics was sent to me by email. It was the weekend, and I was talking to my colleagues about the company's racing equipment. At 18:30, the moment I opened the mailbox, I saw the long-awaited letter. Recalling the scene at that time, Tian Weipeng in front of him was still excited.
"Today, I am working on the parallel giant slalom project on the mountain, mainly responsible for the flag gate refereeing work. Of course, sometimes he also made cameo appearances to level snow roads. There's nothing to worry about at the low temperatures here, and I feel very happy, excited, and more responsible for this work. ”
Talking about roller skating, he told reporters, "When I was a child, I simply liked roller skating, looking at my strength, my aunt spent 75 yuan to buy me a pair of roller skates, which should be the earliest sports equipment I came into contact with." Entering the university, Tian Weipeng still insists on his roller skating dream. In his spare time, he joined the school's roller skating club, and through continuous exchanges with students from colleges and universities across the province, Tian Weipeng's understanding of roller skating has made a qualitative leap. After graduating from college, he became obsessed with skiing again, because he had a foundation in roller skating, and since then he has started his ski life uncontrollably. By chance, Tian Weipeng participated in the national ski referee training. It was this training that increased Tian Weipeng's confidence in "holding hands" in skiing. After that, he also ushered in his own road of refereeing, from 2017 to 2018 National Freestyle Skiing Aerial Skill Pool Competition to the first, second and third Winter National Fitness Games in Shandong Province.
"This service to the Winter Olympics, the harvest is very great. I hope that after returning to Zibo, I can contribute more to the development of Zibo's ice and snow cause. The reporter learned that most of the personnel participating in the NTO of the Beijing Winter Olympics are teachers from major colleges and universities, retired athletes and other professionals. There are only a few people like Tian Weipeng who participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics as a ski enthusiast.
Wang Peng: Dreaming of the Beijing Winter Olympics
"Today I want to prepare for the two-boarders to practice on the field, some regrets, can not be on the sidelines for the snowboarding women's U-shaped track skills qualifier Cai Xuetong, Liu Jiayu, Wu Shaotong, Qiu Leng 4 Chinese golden flowers cheered, but I will send them the best wishes." On February 9, Wang Peng said this in an interview with this reporter.
As an authentic Zibo native, during the Beijing Winter Olympics, Wang Peng served as the Domestic Technical Officer (NTO) of the Winter Olympics in the Zhangjiakou Area for slope obstacle skills. "This is my first time participating in the Winter Olympics and I am excited and proud. Two days ago, in the final of the men's slope steeplechase at the Beijing Winter Olympics, Su Yiming, a 17-year-old chinese athlete, won the silver medal in the event with a score of 88.70 points in the second round, and I served on the sidelines. I am really proud and proud of him, having achieved such good results at such a young age. This is the pride of China's snow projects. Wang Peng told reporters.
"I entered the 'Winter Olympics' on January 21 and entered the Zhangjiakou division to serve." "'Genius Girl' Gu Ailing is the skier I admire and respect the most. When Gu Ailing competes in the women's freestyle ski steeplechase competition on February 13, I will serve on the sidelines. Speaking of this, Wang Peng is particularly happy and excited, "Gu Ailing has won a gold medal in the big jump, or a sub-event, freestyle ski women's slope obstacle skills are her main sport, look forward to her to achieve better results, bless Gu Ailing, we are waiting for you in Zhangjiakou Division." ”
During the interview, the reporter learned that more than a decade ago, Wang Peng began to contact skiing, and soon fell in love with this extremely fast and passionate sport. In 2015, Wang Peng made a decision to transform into a practitioner in the ice and snow industry. Currently, he is engaged in youth ski education at an ice and snow training institution.
At the end of 2018, Wang Peng participated in the training of national vocational qualification ski instructors organized by the Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau and passed the assessment with excellent results. At the beginning of 2022, Wang Peng participated in the alpine skiing and snowboard referee training class organized by the Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau, and participated in the refereeing of the Shandong Provincial Volkswagen Ski Open held on January 8.
Wang Peng told reporters that through this trip to the Winter Olympics, he broadened his horizons, felt the competition of the world's top players on the spot, and accumulated some experience in the world's top events. "I know that in the ice and snow sports in Zibo now, the ice project is strong, and the snow project needs to be improved, and after returning to Zibo, I will strive to dedicate the experience, knowledge and technology I have gained to the Zibo ice and snow sports without reservation, and make a contribution to the better and faster development of zibo ice and snow." "It has always been my dream to participate in a grand event like the Beijing Winter Olympics and witness the historical moments of China's ice and snow sports. At the Beijing Winter Olympics, my dream has come true, thanks to the great motherland. Wang Peng said.
