Late on the night of March 2, when the police were patrolling and squatting in the waters of the Bayi Mindi in the first section of the Yangtze River, they found that the lights suddenly flashed by the riverside, and two figures appeared faintly, and the police lurked close to observe, and found that two men had just finished catching fish from the Yangtze River and were preparing to return ashore, and the police immediately rushed up to control the two men, and summoned them to the police station for investigation according to law.
After investigation, it was learned that after Chen and Zhao had dinner with friends at night, Chen invited Zhao to go to the Yangtze River to get some fish to eat after drinking, saying that he wanted to give everyone a meal in the evening, and Zhao gladly agreed. At about 19:00 on the evening of March 2, Chen brought a plastic boat, battery, anchor hook and other tools from home to drive a tricycle with Zhao to the Yangtze River, the two men connected the battery with a propeller as a power source for the plastic boat to drive the boat into the Yangtze River for anchor fish, and when the two people finished catching the fish, they were caught by the police, and the fishing tools seized at the scene were sea rods, anchor hooks, three no fishing boats, etc., and the catches were 2 large white carp and 1 bream (a total of about 25 pounds), and the police have put the two men according to law. The catch and fishing gear were handed over to the Shishou City Agricultural and Rural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade for disposal.
