It is understood that the suspect and others engaged in illegal fishing in the waters of the Yangtze River in Yueyang Junshan, and sold the fish to a certain fishmonger in Gong'an County for a total profit of more than 2,000 yuan. When the Shishou City Agricultural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade learned of this, it immediately gave the suspect ideological work by telephone, and moved on the phone to understand the reason, so that the suspect finally put down his ideological baggage and agreed to come back and surrender himself.

Since the implementation of the ten-year ban on fishing on the Yangtze River, the Shishou Maritime Department of the Yangtze River, the Shishou Police Station of the Changhang Public Security Bureau, and the Shishou City Agricultural Comprehensive Law Enforcement Brigade have jointly carried out river patrol inspections and adopted various measures such as publicity and arrest to protect the fish resources of the Yangtze River. Not long ago, seven cargo ships were found moored here in the waters of Xiongjia Wharf in the Shishou River section, so they boarded the ship for inspection and seized two wire meshes in the warehouse cabinet. The inspection team then convened a discussion with the owners of the cargo ship and distributed leaflets to publicize relevant policies and regulations such as the ten-year ban on fishing on the Yangtze River.

After listening to it, the owners of the cargo ship expressed their support for the national fishing ban policy, starting from me, no longer fishing in violation of the law. A Huarong boss took out more than ten pieces of fishing gear such as silk nets, three-layer nets, and casting nets from the containers in his ship and handed them over to the law enforcement department.
