Beijing News (reporter Wang Jisong) On February 10, the Beijing Winter Olympic Bobsleigh Team Relay ended the competition, and the Chinese Bobsleigh Team sent a combination of Wang Peixuan, Fan Duoyao and Huang Yebo/Peng Junyue to compete, and finally won the 12th place.

Bobsleigh team relay is a "group" speed event, according to the rules of the competition, each team sends players including women's singles, men's singles and men's doubles to participate. During the race, the women's singles took the lead, the athletes tapped the touchpad overhead at the end of the track to open the door, and the next round of the race (men's single bobsleigh) began to compete, the men's double bobsleigh made its last appearance in the event, and the team with the least time finally won.

The Chinese bobsleigh team started third out of 14 teams. Women's athlete Wang Peixuan took the lead, Fan Duoyao followed closely behind, and the duo Huang Yebo / Peng Junyue set off last. The three groups of contestants spent time of 1 minute 01 second 947, 1 minute 03 second 467 and 1 minute 04 second 768 seconds respectively. The Chinese bobsleigh team won the 12th place in the team relay with a total time of 3 minutes 10.182 seconds and achieved all 4 participating events, which was also the best result achieved by the Chinese team in the bobsleigh event at the Winter Olympics. Germany won the gold medal in 3:03.403, Austria took the silver medal in 3:03.486 and Latvia won the bronze medal in 3:04.354.

With the birth of the bobsleigh team relay event medal, the bobsleigh competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics is over.

The German team demonstrated its strength in the bobsleigh event, winning 6 medals, including gold medals in all 4 minor events and 2 silver medals in the women's singles and men's doubles events. Austria won 2 silver and 1 bronze medal for a total of 3 medals, and the Russian Olympic Committee, Italy and Latvia each won 1 bronze medal.
