Dali Chongsheng Temple three towers, wenbi pagoda in the center, there are two small pagodas arch guarded from north to south, west to Cangshan Yingle Peak, straight up along the foothills, all the way to the pavilion temple, leading to the Buddha's Chongsheng Temple. The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were built in the Tang Nanzhao period, "the legend of the dragon is afraid of the pagoda, Dali used to be Longze, so it is the town." "Ming Dali earthquake, the temple buildings were destroyed, "the tower cracked three feet", Dali jinshi Li Yuanyang rebuilt the Chongsheng Temple, and listed the three pagodas as one of the five heavy instruments of the Chongsheng Temple. At the end of the Ming Dynasty, Xu Xia visited Dali, and there were still "three pagodas standing in front of chongsheng temple,...... The four sides of the Nuo are surrounded by tall pines, and the west of it is entered by the mountain gate, and there are bell towers opposite the three towers, which are extremely majestic." The Xiantong Rebellion affected Dali, the Chongsheng Temple was destroyed by soldiers, and only the three pagodas have been well preserved to this day. On March 4, 1961, it was announced by the State Council as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In the 1980s, when maintenance and reinforcement were carried out, a number of cultural relics from the Nanzhao and Dali periods were cleaned up. In the 1990s, the Three Pagodas Park began to take shape, and the government raised funds to restore and rebuild the historical and cultural landscape. In 2004, a larger-scale expansion, the southern Buddha capital was rebuilt, the golden and brilliant temple, gilded and silver Buddha statue, the Buddha altar is magnificent, the Buddhist dharma instrument is full of light, the three pagodas are glowing, and the thick history of Dali is fully displayed here.
