Beautiful and magical Baluk Mountain
"Baluk", Kazakh means "rich, rich, all-encompassing". Located in Yumin and Tori counties in the Tacheng region, on the north side of alashankou, The Baluk Mountains are relatively independent mountains, and at the western end of the mountains is the dividing line between the mainland and Kazakhstan.
Geographically, Baluk Mountain is between the Tianshan Mountains and the Altai Mountains, with picturesque mountains, canyons, forests, meadows, lakes, almost all the beautiful mountain landscapes in Xinjiang, due to its border and late development, many places have preserved almost complete original scenery.

At the end of 2014, Baluk Mountain was upgraded to a national nature reserve, and the main protection objects are: germplasm resources such as wild apples in Xinjiang, key protected wild animals such as snow leopards, and forest ecosystems such as Snow Ridge Spruce Forest and Wild Badan Apricot Forest.
As a national 4A-level scenic spot, Baluk Mountain Scenic Area is a "border oasis" global tourism demonstration area in the Ta'e Basin, in response to the strategy of "tourism rejuvenation of Xinjiang", the Tacheng area put forward the development idea of "global tourism, highlighting characteristics, building the core, ecological nature" and the goal of "oil painting tower city, cultural pure land, healthy paradise", and has started the work of declaring a national 5A-level scenic spot.
