Wind beard, also known as wind lake, wind beard, wind pot, during the Spring and Autumn period of the Chu State Xiang sword master. The Book of Yue Jie records the legendary story of the Sword of Taia related to the Wind Beard. The Book of Yue Jie, also known as the Book of Yue Jie, consists of fifteen volumes and is a miscellaneous history of the local history of ancient Wu Yue. The authors are Yuan Kang and Wu Ping of the Han Dynasty. The Book of The Outer Tales and the Sword of The Sword is described as follows:

The King of Chu said to Feng Beard, "The generals of the State of Wu and Ou Yezi of the State of Yue are the masters of forging swords in the world, and you take the treasures of our Kingdom of Chu and go to see Ou Yezi and the Generals, and ask them to help me forge iron swords." As a result, Ou Yezi and Gan generals chiseled open the CiShan Mountain, drained their streams, took out the iron ying, and struck out three iron swords, the first called Longyuan, the second called Tai'a, and the third called Gongbu. After the casting was completed, the wind beard reported to the King of Chu, and the King of Chu was pleased.

When King Zheng of Jin heard this information, he led his troops to attack the Chu state and demanded these three swords. The King of Chu refused to give it, and King Zheng of Jin besieged the capital of the Chu State for three years. Seeing that the entire city's soldiers and civilians were going to starve to death, the helpless King of Chu took the Tai'a sword up to the city tower, and as soon as he waved the Tai'a sword in his hand, king Zheng's army of Jin zheng suddenly collapsed, and the warriors fell to the ground, and the blood flowed into a river, and also scared away the beasts on the mountain, and the river water also flowed backwards, and the black hair of king Zheng of Jin suddenly turned all white.

King Chu asked Feng Beard, "Why does the Tai'a Sword have such great power?" The Wind Beard replied, "The Tai'a Sword is the sword of the Way of Wei, and the power of the heart is the true Wei." The king's mighty strength in the face of adversity is an outstanding manifestation of the power of the heart. It was the inner power of the Great King that inspired the power of Tai'a's sword qi. ”

Although the above is only a legendary story, according to the "Wu Yue Chunqiu" written by the Eastern Han Dynasty scholar Zhao Ye: "King Chu Zhao obtained the sword of Wu Wang Zhanlu, and summoned the wind beard to ask: 'The widow gets the sword, but I don't know its name.'" The Wind Beard said, "This is the sword of Zhanlu." This shows that Feng Beard was a real historical figure who lived during the reign of King Chu Zhao. Xiong Ren, king of Chu Zhao, was born in 523 BC, died in 489 BC, and reigned for 27 years from 516 BC to 489 BC.

The wind beard belonged to the Chu State Sword Master of this period. Ou Yezi, the sword casting master of the Yue Kingdom, once forged five swords for Yue Wang Yunchang, including Zhan Lu, Chun Jun, Sheng Evil, Fish Intestine, and Giant Que. According to legend, the Zhanlu Sword is known as the "first sword under the heavens", and its owners are Successively Yue Wang Yunchang, Wu Wang Lu, Chu Zhao Wang, Wu Wang Fu Cha, Yue Wang Gou Jian, Xue Rengui, and Yue Fei.
