"Taiwan independence" elements want to make up for history: The last time the United States "sold Taiwan," it did not hesitate in the slightest

author:Riba

In recent years, the United States has frequently hyped up the Taiwan issue, intensified its efforts to play the "Taiwan card," and constantly impacted the bottom line of the "one-China" principle. For example, on February 7, the United States decided to sell about $100 million worth of "Patriot Missile Engineering Services" and "Battlefield Surveillance Projects" to Taiwan, the second arms sale to Taiwan since the current US administration took office.

We can see very clearly that this arms sale to Taiwan is nothing more than another trick of the United States to engage in "extreme pressure," and it is completely to borrow the tension in the Taiwan Strait to make Taiwan pay another "protection fee." When the Taiwan side was "cheering and rejoicing," it may not have thought that the United States has not yet made a clear statement on sending troops to "assist in the defense of Taiwan," hoping that the United States can intervene in Taiwan and let the AMERICAN servicemen shed blood for the Taiwanese.

Perhaps many Taiwanese have forgotten that in the 1970s, the United States had "betrayed Taiwan" once for its own national strategic interests, that is, it had to unite with China to resist strong pressure from the Soviet Union, and the most direct result was that the Kuomintang government lost its seat representing "China" at the United Nations, followed by the "normalization of relations" between the United States and China, and then even the "Sino-US honeymoon period" that many of our netizens are very familiar with. It can be seen from this that Taiwan has always been a pawn of the United States, and when it comes to sacrificing Taiwan, the United States has no worries at all; even if the so-called "Taiwan Relations Act" was later established, Taiwan's status has long been "positioned" by the United States, and the United States has never been willing to "stand out" for Taiwan in terms of international law.

Today, the development of the world pattern has reached a new historical stage, and the second "betrayal of Taiwan" by the United States has obviously reached a very crucial time. Unlike the first "selling Taiwan," today's United States has fallen to the point where it constantly plays the "Taiwan card" to deal with China.

Since the United States proposed to "return to the Asia-Pacific region" in 2012, the United States has launched trade wars, science and technology wars, military wars and diplomatic wars, but they have not been able to effectively suppress the rapid development of China. Especially after the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, the advantages of the "Chinese road" have been widely recognized in the world, and the corresponding is that the world image of the United States has declined all the way. At the same time, the "Taiwan independence" forces have almost completely grasped Taiwan's political arena, so it seems that this time has also become the "best time" for "Taiwan independence" to pull the United States to strive for more favorable conditions. To put it simply, it is impossible for the United States to adjust its tough posture toward China, and Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party does not want to engage and communicate with the mainland, which insists that "China must be reunified and will inevitably be reunified." For a time, the Taiwan Strait became what the outside world considered "the most dangerous place in the world."

Now the whole world has seen that if the struggle between China and the United States develops further, it will bring great risks to the whole world, but at this time, Taiwan is still "not afraid of death" and tries to gain more benefits in the cracks between the Sino-US struggle. Under such circumstances, the sharper the struggle between China and the United States, the higher the risk to Taiwan, and in fact this risk has already emerged, as evidenced by the intensive operations of PLA military aircraft. If this trend continues, our agenda for resolving the Taiwan issue by force will emerge earlier as the situation requires.

However, taiwan society, from top to bottom, obviously does not realize that our compatriot feelings and homeland feelings are being regarded by the United States and "Taiwan independence" as "dare not move." The politicians in Taiwan have not clearly seen the fact that although the United States has organized the "New Eight-Power Alliance" and various military alliances, it has always been active around China, and even if the United States comes to play a "edge ball," it does not dare to directly deal with China militarily. The Americans stayed in the historical understanding that the "Eight-Power Alliance" could suppress China in the past, and if the "Taiwan independence" forces were misled by these actions of the West, they would only bring disaster to themselves.

If the above facts are still unclear to some people in Taiwan, yesterday's Afghanistan and today's Ukraine are the best examples. Ukraine, an independent country, has always thought that the United States and NATO will announce the deployment of troops to help it, but the result is that to this day the United States is still in fact still "mouth cannon".

So, what about the end of Taiwan? It will be worse than Ukraine. China's total economic output, coupled with its military strength, will certainly make it impossible for the Americans to start, and back to our topic today, that is, when China cannot be frightened and the "Taiwan card" cannot be played, the United States will eventually abandon the Taiwan authorities.
