ICAP has completed Chinese translation of the manual in conjunction with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and has used the Chinese version of the manual in several trainings held in China. The handbook is intended to provide a practical tool for government policymakers and practitioners in the carbon market. It brings together the insights of more than 100 practitioners and experts from four continents, detailing the ten most important steps in the design of carbon trading systems, which can be used by readers to design and implement local emissions trading systems based on rich experience around the world.
